ABOUT
Hey I'm Peter,
the man behind PM Picture and Motion
I didn’t set out to be a photographer. My creative journey began in music, years of studying performance and production shaped how I think about rhythm, tone, and storytelling. When my grandfather gave me his old Olympus OM-1, what started as a distraction and a lot of wasted film grew into a lifelong pursuit. That first camera opened the door to a world where images could carry the same weight as sound.
Since then, I’ve explored portraits, comedy skits, music videos, branded content, and documentary work. Whether capturing the joy of a grappling competition or crafting something abstract and mysterious, my goal is always the same: to make people feel something.
I keep things calm, thoughtful, and collaborative. Sometimes I follow a client’s vision and elevate it; other times I bring my own ideas to the table.
Outside the camera, I’ve immersed myself in music and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, passions that keep me learning, problem-solving, and noticing details others might miss. These experiences feed back into my work, helping me see and capture what others might overlook.
Looking ahead, I want to tell bigger stories documentaries, maybe even films while continuing to work with clients who want imagery that resonates on a larger stage. At the heart of it all, my mission is simple:
To help people see what might otherwise go unnoticed.
